She said 'till the last second. He believed it was forever. Two dates. Two nights. Three lies, dressed in confidence and perfume. Cut to quick shots — the two of them dancing, her hair flying. Then him, back home, staring at the ceiling. VOICE-OVER She spoke of empires. He offered safety. She asked what happens if he falls. He said — I'll catch you. She laughed. Said I better not fall. Now, silence. Just him. VOICE-OVER Turns out love's not a maybe. It's a promise. A silent stand in the rain. A 'I'll wait' even when no one asked. His breath clouds. The rain gets harder.
