Real UK Greyhound shelter corridor. Kennels on both sides. Fluorescent lights overhead. Clear wall text on the kennel reads: “GREYHOUND.” Phone held at chest height with slight natural shake. A tall fawn-colored Greyhound stands alone inside the kennel near the gate. Head low. Body still. A couple walks past the kennel. The boy suddenly slows down and says quietly, “Wait…” They both turn back. The Greyhound slowly lifts his head and looks directly at them. The kennel gate is slightly open. He steps out carefully, then quickly runs toward the girl. His paws slide lightly on the floor as he stops in front of her. She kneels down immediately. The Greyhound presses his body against her and rests his head on her chest. She wraps her arms around him and starts crying. The boy kneels beside them and gently places his hand on the dog’s back. Only normal shelter sounds. End quietly.
