It’s late afternoon. A Hill Myna with striking yellow wattles is perched on the ornamental badge on the front hood of a parked police car. A young Police Officer is leaning against the car, finishing a big, sticky ice cream cone. After the last lick, he deliberately flicks the messy paper wrapper under the car, sighing contentedly. Instantly, the Myna puffs out its chest, leans forward over the badge, and mimics a deep, booming voice, exactly like the officer's own commanding supervisor: "Officer! Report immediately! I'm seeing a code violation right under your jurisdiction! Your paperwork is messy! I repeat: YOUR PAPERWORK IS MESSY! You are hereby assigned to 'Litter Retrieval Duty' until sunset! Get to work!" The Officer jumps, frantically checking his radio and then looking around for his boss. When he sees the bird imitating him from the hood, he groans, quickly retrieves the wrapper, and mutters, "I'm telling Dispatch about this bird."
