Cinematic non-POV short film. Opening frame: a police officer stands in heavy rain at night, red and blue lights flashing behind him. A dog is already sitting in the middle of the road, perfectly still. The officer whistles. The dog doesn’t move. The officer steps forward — the dog suddenly barks once and blocks his path. The officer hesitates… then steps around the dog. A loud screech — a speeding car crashes just meters ahead where the officer was about to stand. Silence. Rain continues. The officer slowly looks back. The dog is gone.
