The camera holds steady on ARTIST’s face. Very slowly, the black outlines around his eyes and mouth begin to shimmer slightly, as though liquid ink were vibrating beneath the surface. The spray can in his hand subtly glints. The nearby streetlight hums and flickers again. The painted lines begin to thicken as if the character is trying to emerge. ARTIST whispers softly: “Okay… okay… we got a window.”
