The Godfather of Soul walks onto the stage inside Dillon Gymnasium at Princeton University. The lights are dim with the stage spotlights illuminating the stage and revealing the faces of the thousands of fans gathered and cheering. The Godfather's whole band, the Soul Generals, are in effect, vamping and grooving to get the crowd in motion, a total of 15 musicians on stage including the female background singers dressed in black sequined dresses and his full brass section. Thousands of young college students are cheering and exhuberant to see their musical hero. The camera angle is taken from just above and behind the Godfather's iconic pompadour hairdo as he would have appeared in 1996. He is wearing sunglasses and is wearing an impressive red stage costume bedecked with rhinestones.
