The firefighter looks at the dog, confused. The dog stands up and looks back toward a burning building, then looks back at the firefighter. The firefighter hesitates — then stands and follows. Inside the building, flames flicker and smoke fills the hallway. The dog stops at a doorway where a trapped person is visible. Cut to outside: the rescued person is safe, wrapped in a blanket. Final shot: the firefighter sits on the curb. The dog leans against him calmly as firelights flash.
