Visual: The camera switches to a shaky, subjective shot from the protagonist's perspective. The Figure is now walking ahead, faster than should be possible without running, its form slightly blurred. Its face is perpetually obscured by shadow or an unnatural warp in the light. Action: The protagonist tries to keep pace but struggles. They are led towards the edge of the ice floe, where it gives way to a black, perfectly still ocean. Ahead, there is no light—just an impenetrable wall of dark mist over the water. The Figure heads straight for it. Lighting: The environment gets progressively darker. The only light source seems to be absorbed by the Figure and the black ocean ahead.
