Cinematic non-POV short film. A nighttime fire scene on a city street. Fire trucks flash red lights through thick smoke. A dog runs into frame and stands in front of a firefighter, refusing to move. The firefighter stops. The dog looks back toward the burning building, then back at him. After a brief pause, the firefighter follows the dog inside. Inside the building, smoke fills the hallway. Flames flicker along the walls. The dog leads the firefighter to a room where a trapped person is coughing weakly. The firefighter rescues the person and carries them outside. Outside, firefighters rush in to help. Final shot: the dog sits calmly beside the firefighter, illuminated by firelight and emergency lights.
