The protagonist steps into ankle-deep, black, viscous liquid that seems to move against their will. As they walk, the ooze reacts, forming tendrils that wrap lightly around their legs. Flashcuts (1-2 frames) of the protagonist's hidden fears: a broken mirror, a forgotten face, a falling figure. The black ooze spreads from the floor up the walls, absorbing light. The figure in the darkness is now clearer—a tall, slender entity wearing a tattered, crimson cloak that seems to emit its own faint, hellish glow.Apocalypse, Anxiety, Fear, Surreal World. A creepy face from nightmares in the style of the "dead valley effect" with deformed arms and legs in a surreal, terrifying empty basement with cracked walls, ghostly snakes with human faces crawling. Giant surreal snakes crawl along the floor and walls, an entrance to the underworld, doors and windows like chasms into other terrifying worlds.
