"Sarah, can you believe this?" he exclaimed, his voice slightly hoarse from the excitement. "It must weigh thirty pounds, maybe more! I've never seen one this big!" Sarah, leaning over it with a grin that stretched from ear to ear, was practically vibrating with happiness. "I know! When it hit the line, I thought you snagged an old log! The way it fought... my arms are still shaking!" She playfully nudged Mark's shoulder. "That's going straight on the wall, Captain. We are having a trophy picture taken the minute we get back." "A trophy picture and an amazing dinner!" Mark laughed, the sound carrying across the water. He reached for the camera bag. "We'll call this 'The King of the Lake'!" As they shared a quick, joyful high-five, their happy chatter filled the quiet expanse, a perfect ending to a spectacular day on the water.
