Drenched in sweat, she pumps her arms with dumbbells the size of car wheels — for her, it’s just a warm-up. Male competitors stare in disbelief, visibly shrinking in presence. A young figure athlete tries to speak to her — Valeria leans in, and her chest forces the woman to step back. “You’ll grow,” she says with a smirk, “but never like this.” A male coach murmurs, “She’s not even human.” She hears him, laughs, then flexes. The lights flicker.
