Shonen Anime - Episode 1 Title: The Watching Shadow Shonen - A rainy night… a huge city that never sleeps. Quick snapshots of petty thefts, suspicious bag swaps, shadows moving across rooftops. Detective Kaizo (27 years old), his gaze sharp, stands atop a building, watching. A friend of Detective Kaizo's moves on to the morning. Kaizo is at home with his calm and supportive wife and their twin children: Rin (boy): a perceptive genius who loves puzzles; Mira (girl): intelligent and adept at reading facial expressions. A quick exchange reveals that the children are not easily fooled and suspect their father is hiding something. In a seemingly abandoned, massive building, which serves as a front, Kaizo and his friend Aoki (a daring field cop) investigate: repeated petty thefts, small-scale drug trafficking, and then a clever, non-violent bank robbery. Kaizo notices a strange pattern: "These aren't isolated crimes… it's a test." The first indirect confrontation. A gang member smiles and whispers, "The smartest detectives fall... when we touch their families." A clear threat, without violence. A camera closes up to Kaizo's eyes... silent, but his anger is palpable.
