Rainy evening. A fire station's bay doors are open. A tired firefighter (mid-30s, soot-streaked face, kind eyes) steps out after a long shift, helmet under arm. A small boy (6–7 years old, wearing oversized raincoat and rubber boots) waits alone under the awning, clutching a soggy handmade card and a slightly crumpled drawing of a firefighter saving a house. The boy looks up nervously as the firefighter notices him. Boy (soft, shy): "I made this… for you. Because you save people." He holds out the card. Inside: crayon words "Thank you for being brave" and a drawing of a firefighter with a big red heart. The firefighter kneels to the boy's level, takes the card gently. His tired face softens into a genuine, surprised smile. Eyes glisten. Firefighter (quiet, warm): "This is the best thing anyone's given me all week, buddy. Thank you." He opens his arms. The boy rushes in for a quick, tight hug. The firefighter holds him for a moment, patting his back. Pull back: rain pattering softly, station lights glowing warm behind them. The boy waves goodbye and runs to a waiting parent in the distance. The firefighter stands, looks at the drawing again, tucks it carefully inside his jacket pocket over his heart. He smiles to himself, exhales, and walks back inside—shoulders a little lighter. Fade out on the open bay doors, rain falling, soft piano swell, and a faint "See you again!" from the boy echoing.
